What you'll do

• Provide pastoral and spiritual care to patients and families
• conduct spiritual assessments and develop care plans
• provide bedside, funeral, and memorial support as requested
• document patient visits
• participate in interdisciplinary and staff meetings
• support staff
• communicate with area interfaith clergy
• help staff understand religious needs affecting care
• and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Why this role

Requires a Master of Divinity degree or equivalent theological studies, at least four units of Clinical Pastoral Education, and board certification or eligibility through ACPE or CPSP. A minimum of two years of pastoral experience in a healthcare setting is required; hospice experience is desirable.
