What you'll do

• Recruit, select, mentor, and coach drivers

• monitor performance and complete reviews
• ensure compliance with transportation safety requirements
• prepare reports and participate in budgeting
• schedule routes and monitor hours of service
• conduct route observations
• maintain food safety standards
• review payroll
• maintain driver qualification files
• schedule truck maintenance
• investigate accidents
• coordinate deliveries and backhauls
• respond to customer complaints
• drive a company vehicle or straight truck when qualified and needed.
