The Information Technology Subject Matter Expert - Enterprise Storage & Backup role is onsite in Richmond, VA, with a projected salary of $130,000+ per year. AGE Solutions provides technology and professional services to U.S. government, defense, and intelligence customers; this position supports a Department of Defense customer. The subject matter expert provides senior technical leadership for enterprise storage, backup, recovery, and data protection infrastructure in mission-critical environments. The role designs, deploys, secures, troubleshoots, and sustains storage solutions while guiding engineers and coordinating with government, contractor, and vendor teams.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership and advisory support for enterprise storage and data protection
• design, deploy, configure, integrate, and sustain storage arrays, SAN/NAS environments, fabrics, and backup solutions
• administer and troubleshoot storage technologies
• support disaster recovery, backup, replication, restoration, and cloud storage
• perform root-cause analysis
• implement security controls and support DISA STIG, IAVA, and DoD cybersecurity requirements
• support Windows and RHEL systems and enterprise databases
• develop automation using PowerShell, Python, and Bash
• maintain technical documentation
• mentor engineers and communicate technical risks and recommendations.
