The Before and After School Assistant Area Manager / Early Learning Professional role is onsite in Suffolk, VA. Pay is $22.50 per hour, with full-time hours Monday through Friday scheduled flexibly between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM to support school programming. AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs for students. Working with the Area Manager, this role coaches and supports Site Directors and Group Leaders across multiple school locations. It helps translate program priorities into consistent site operations, supporting quality, safety, compliance, staff development, and communication with families and school partners.

What you'll do

• Support and coach Site Directors and Group Leaders through site visits, check-ins, and monthly meetings
• partner with the Area Manager on program quality, safety, and compliance
• assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development
• conduct observations and provide feedback
• monitor licensing requirements, ratios, safety practices, and site readiness
• step in to support site operations and coverage when needed
• maintain communication with staff, families, and school partners.
