The Controller - Manufacturing role is onsite in Georgetown, TX, with a base salary of $130,000–$145,000 per year. The role supports Austin Cutlery & Tool’s expansion into manufacturing and works with the Director of Finance and executive leadership. The position exists to lead accounting operations and establish manufacturing accounting processes in SAP S/4HANA. It strengthens financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting processes while building a team and providing leaders with useful cost and variance information.

What you'll do

• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close across multiple entities
• deliver accurate, audit-ready financial reporting
• oversee the general ledger, reconciliations, and technical accounting
• coordinate external audits and support lender and executive reporting
• lead and develop the accounting team
• implement manufacturing accounting in SAP S/4HANA, including standard costing, work in process, and variance analysis
• oversee inventory accounting and valuation
• partner with manufacturing, operations, engineering, and supply chain
• support ERP implementation, testing, process design, automation, and continuous improvement.

Why this role

The posting requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including manufacturing experience, and hands-on cost, standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing reporting experience. CPA and SAP S/4HANA experience are listed as preferred.
