The engineer supports Autonomous Solutions, Inc.’s autonomous logistics vehicles. The engineer leads complex perception features from technical definition through integration and validation, enabling vehicles to detect and track objects, understand navigable space, and operate safely. The role develops and integrates algorithms, fuses sensor data, evaluates performance, troubleshoots system issues, and provides technical guidance to other engineers.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, integrate, and validate perception algorithms
• lead features involving detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, obstacle detection, and free-space identification
• fuse camera, LiDAR, radar, GPS/GNSS, inertial, and other sensor data
• develop environmental models
• lead workstreams through requirements, implementation, testing, and release
• evaluate performance using datasets, simulation, and field validation
• troubleshoot sensor and integration issues
• mentor engineers
• support customer demonstrations and field deployments as required.
