Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in San Jose, CA. Compensation is $26.64–$33.78 per hour. WelbeHealth PACE helps seniors remain in their homes and communities through medical care and community-based services. This role supports providers, nurses, and on-site specialty care providers in delivering safe, efficient clinic services. It combines clinical and front-office work, helping participants prepare for appointments while supporting trusted, attentive care.

What you'll do

• Prepare participants for appointments
• set up exam rooms
• check participants in and out
• obtain illness histories
• measure and document vital signs
• perform authorized procedures such as dressing changes and suture removals under physician supervision
• collect laboratory specimens
• sterilize equipment
• maintain clinic logs and keep rooms stocked, sanitized, and ready.
