The Operations Work Coordinator role is onsite in Amarillo, TX. Compensation is $28.00–$39.20 per hour. The coordinator supports Xcel Energy’s daily operations and work execution, contributing to safe, reliable service for electricity and natural gas customers. The role maintains work plans and coordinates crews, materials, equipment, and work orders. Accurate scheduling and closeout records help the operating team use resources effectively, meet customer and regulatory needs, and maintain data integrity.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain daily work plans and crew rosters
• adjust schedules and assign crews based on priorities, resources, conflicts, and progress
• generate work orders and close out work packets
• review exception reports for labor and equipment charges
• request locates, order materials, coordinate utilities, and schedule specialized equipment
• maintain system data integrity
• reconcile completed work packets and compare as-builts with completed work
• partner with supervisors and stakeholders to improve productivity and resource utilization.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of related construction, design, maintenance, or operations experience. Utility experience is preferred; spreadsheet and work management software proficiency is required.
