Veterinary Care Technician

The Veterinary Care Technician role is onsite in Orangeburg, NY, at Palisades Veterinary Hospital. Compensation is $23–$29 per hour. What you'll do

• Restrain animals for examinations and treatments
• assist doctors with patient care
• obtain weights
• use radiology software and take digital images
• run in-house laboratory specimens and prepare send-out samples
• manage treatments and administer anesthesia under veterinarian direction
• complete medical records
• maintain patient comfort and cleanliness
• manage controlled-drug logs, medications, and supplies.
