The Assisted Living Coordinator - Phoenix is an onsite role located in Phoenix, AZ. The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $59,000 per year. This role supports the wellness team at MorningStar Senior Living. This role exists to manage the staffing and care needs of the Assisted Living Community. The Assisted Living Coordinator hires, trains, and supervises caregivers and med techs, monitors resident care needs, alerts the Wellness Director to changes in condition, and acts as a liaison with community providers.

What you'll do

• Manage the staffing needs of the Assisted Living Community
• Assist the Business Office Manager in the completion of new hire paperwork
• Identify staff educational needs
• Ensure that care staff is educated about the needs for our residents
• Report symptoms and changes in condition of residents
• Maintain accurate records reflecting the resident’s conditions
• Ensure the resident care is being provided by weekly monitoring
• Ensure all infection control guidelines are met
• Prepare and administer medications
• Work with the Wellness Director to develop, maintain, and update resident negotiated service plans.
