The Electrician, Custom Automation works onsite in Holland, MI, during standard shop hours of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Pay is $17–$28 per hour, based on experience. Mission Design & Automation builds custom automation systems to address manufacturing challenges. The electrician works with machine builders, mechanical designers, and controls engineers to wire and support custom equipment from panel construction through startup. The role contributes to project delivery by building, troubleshooting, installing, and commissioning electrical systems and documenting changes across project teams.

What you'll do

• Install, repair, and rebuild electrical systems for custom automation equipment
• build control panels and machine wiring in accordance with the National Electrical Code
• interpret schematics
• troubleshoot equipment
• support machine tear-downs, installations, and commissioning
• communicate project status and technical needs
• document electrical modifications and machine changes
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
