The Echocardiography Technologist role is onsite at rotating locations: Ilwaco, WA, on Mondays and Tuesdays one week, and Forks, WA, on Mondays and Tuesdays the following week, with support for other locations throughout Western Washington. Compensation is $50–$65 per hour. The role provides echocardiography services to patients across Washington communities. The technologist performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and prepares measurements and preliminary findings for physician review. The work supports cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment through accurate imaging, patient care, and collaboration with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.

What you'll do

• Perform one-dimensional, two-dimensional, and Doppler echocardiograms, including pulse-wave, continuous-wave, and color-flow studies
• adjust ultrasound equipment for diagnostic images
• complete measurements and provide preliminary findings for physician review
• assist physicians during specialized procedures
• prepare patients and explain exams
• monitor patient comfort and safety
• maintain diagnostic images and patient records
• follow quality, safety, and infection-control protocols
• collaborate with the cardiac care team
• participate in continuing education and assist with training as needed.

Why this role

Requires RDCS, RCS, or equivalent echocardiography certification, current BLS, 3–5 years of experience, and an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
