Surgical Technologist

The Surgical Technologist role is an onsite position based in Loveland, CO. Compensation is $27.61 - $41.41 per hour, depending on experience, supporting the UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Operating Room in its mission to improve lives through surgical excellence. This role exists to facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. The technologist prepares the operating suite, manages sterile equipment, assists with patient positioning, and supports the surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining accurate counts throughout procedures.

What you'll do

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery.
• Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
