The role provides intensive monitoring and treatment for critically ill patients and shifts to Medical-Surgical care when there are no ICU-level patients, while remaining ready to respond to critical care needs. It supports patient-centered care across critical and acute care settings.

What you'll do

• Provide care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment
• when there are no ICU-level patients, care for Medical-Surgical patients while remaining available for critical care needs. Maintain a current Kansas RN license or eligibility to obtain one
• have at least one year of recent ICU or PCU experience
• maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications or obtain them within the required timeframe.
