The Lab Chemist I role is onsite in Cleveland, OH. Pay is $23 per hour, with a $1.75-per-hour shift differential once on second shift. The chemist supports Clean Harbors’ chemical disposal operation at its Cleveland facility. The chemist prepares and analyzes samples to determine chemical and physical properties, maintaining accurate records and following quality and safety requirements. The work supports informed handling of materials in the disposal operation.

What you'll do

• Prepare and analyze samples using prescribed procedures
• calibrate and use instrumentation
• maintain equipment and suggest solutions to problems
• complete analysis paperwork
• follow QA/QC guidelines
• manage supplies and housekeeping
• properly manage waste generated by analytical procedures
• comply with OSHA and company health, safety, and compliance protocols.
