The Career Coach role is onsite in Austin, TX. Pay is $21.28 per hour. The position supports employees across Goodwill Central Texas by promoting continued engagement and career development. The coach builds relationships with employees, helps identify career and education goals, connects them with resources, and addresses barriers to employment stability. The role also tracks progress and supports employees as they move among Goodwill divisions.

What you'll do

• Build trusting relationships and maintain frequent communication with employees
• monitor indicators of employment retention
• coordinate with Goodwill teams to connect employees with training and services
• collaborate with business-line management
• observe worksite behaviors and provide coaching
• assess services needed to support individualized goals
• develop and track short- and long-term career plans
• coordinate internal and external resources
• intervene ethically in crises and develop follow-up plans
• provide financial coaching as needed
• maintain accurate confidential records
• complete screening and intake
• share field insights and identify opportunities for employee support and development.

Why this role

A bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least one year of case management experience with underserved populations are required. Bilingual ability and a master’s degree or professional licensure are preferred.
