The Multi-Classroom Floater Teacher role is onsite in Nashville, TN, paying $16–$19 per hour. The full-time schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Lotus Learning Center is an early childhood program serving the East Nashville, North Nashville, and Madison area, with a play-based and project-based curriculum. The teacher provides classroom coverage during lead and assistant teachers’ breaks or absences, helping maintain safe, joyful learning environments and continuity of care. The role supports children’s learning and development through responsive relationships, classroom engagement, and daily safety and preparation tasks.

What you'll do

• Supervise toddlers and preschool-age children during teacher breaks or absences
• build nurturing relationships
• engage children in learning
• prepare and deliver snacks
• maintain kitchen hygiene and safety according to state licensing requirements
• collaborate on daily cleaning and center preparation
• monitor indoor and outdoor environments
• participate in staff meetings and professional development.
