Medication Aide

Job overview

The Medication Aide role is onsite in Winter Garden, FL. Pay is $14–$24 per hour. The Gardens of Golden Pond works to create safe, comfortable, and vibrant communities where seniors can thrive. The aide administers and documents medications, monitors residents' health, and supports the nursing team. The role contributes to residents' well-being, dignity, and independence through safe medication practices, health observation, and compassionate engagement.

What you'll do

• Prepare, administer, and document medications according to orders and protocols
• store and dispose of medications properly
• monitor and report adverse reactions
• observe and report changes in health and behavior
• measure and record vital signs as needed
• assist with basic healthcare tasks under licensed staff supervision
• encourage participation in wellness activities
• follow infection control and regulatory requirements
• maintain secure, organized medication carts and records
• respond to emergencies.
