Director of Finance, Grants & Operations

Job overview

The Director of Finance, Grants & Operations role is onsite in Oakland, California. Compensation is $140,000–$150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. CURYJ works through restorative justice, youth leadership development, violence prevention, and systems change to support communities impacted by incarceration.

What you'll do

• Lead annual and multiyear budgeting and financial planning
• advise executive leadership on financial implications
• oversee grant budgets, reporting, reimbursement requests, receivables, and closeout
• maintain accounting records and produce financial statements
• lead close, forecasting, audit readiness, and internal controls
• supervise finance and grants staff
• provide limited oversight of designated operational budgets, vendors, and administrative systems.
