Patient Access Specialist

What you'll do

• Field, route, and triage patient calls
• schedule appointments and provider calls
• review and adjust future schedules
• arrange interpreters
• register patients in AthenaOne
• check patients in and out
• prepare appointment paperwork
• monitor assigned EMR tasks and voicemail
• manage the shared email inbox
• clear scan and fax queues
• scan required documents to the authorization coordinator
• process incoming and outgoing mail.
