Signal Integrity Engineer

The Signal Integrity Engineer role is onsite in Schaumburg, IL, with an annual base salary of $100,000–$150,000. The role supports Amphenol High Speed Products Group’s development of high-speed, high-bandwidth connectors for telecom and datacom markets. The engineer owns signal-integrity work across new product development, from architecture and simulation through validation and manufacturing transfer. The work helps ensure connector designs meet performance targets and can be produced and tested at scale.

What you'll do

• Develop next-generation high-speed connectors
• translate customer requirements into designs, manufacturing processes, and qualification plans
• own signal-integrity development from simulation through validation and production transfer
• conduct design reviews
• perform channel modeling, SI/PI simulation, characterization, VNA/TDR validation, and margin analysis
• support customer engagements and global production ramps.
