The Optical Fabrication and Polishing Technician III role is onsite in Lebanon, NH, on the first shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; pay is $28–$38 per hour depending on experience. Bond Optics produces precision optics for demanding defense and aerospace programs. The senior technician leads complex optical fabrication work, mentors other technicians, and partners with engineering and quality to improve process repeatability, yield, throughput, and product quality.

What you'll do

• Set up and run complex optical fabrication jobs
• grind, lap, polish, bevel, chamfer, and finish optical materials
• work from drawings, travelers, routings, and specifications
• perform in-process and final inspections using optical metrology tools
• control critical features and tolerances
• troubleshoot process and equipment issues
• mentor Technician I and II staff
• improve work instructions and methods
• support production planning and continuous improvement.

Why this role
