The Classroom Facilitator works onsite in Charlotte, NC, on a part-time schedule of Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m., following the CMS school calendar. Pay is $17–$20 per hour based on experience. ourBRIDGE for KIDS supports the education, acculturation, and wellbeing of refugee, immigrant, and first-generation American children and their families. The facilitator leads afterschool learning and activities for elementary-age students, adapting lessons to students’ needs and fostering English-language growth, emotional wellbeing, and cross-cultural understanding. The role helps maintain a supportive classroom and works with staff, volunteers, students, and families to advance the program’s educational mission.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with supervisors, co-facilitators, and volunteers to plan and deliver educational programming
• lead activities that support English-language growth, emotional wellbeing, and cross-cultural understanding
• adapt lessons for varying English proficiency
• monitor academic progress
• lead Community Circles
• manage attendance, meal distribution, cleanliness, and club activities
• support student drop-off and pick-up as needed.
