Director of Outreach and Development

Job overview

The Director of Outreach and Development role is onsite in Ithaca, NY and supports two affiliated facilities. Compensation is $55,000–$65,000 per year. The role supports community-based business development and relationship management for the facilities. The director develops and implements marketing strategies, builds referral relationships, and promotes the facilities’ clinical and therapy services. The work also supports customer experience through admissions and transitions, community outreach, facility tours, marketing materials, and digital initiatives.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, health systems, discharge planners, case managers, rehabilitation centers, physicians, and assisted living facilities
• promote customer service during admissions and transitions
• inform referral sources about clinical and therapy services
• develop marketing strategies and materials
• support digital marketing
• conduct facility tours
• plan community events
• work with Admissions, Nursing, and the Business Office
• explain admission processes and payment systems.
