The CNC Machinist — First Shift role is onsite in Mount Juliet, TN; compensation is not specified. DESTACO designs and manufactures automation, workholding, and remote-handling solutions for customers across several industries. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the machinist sets up, operates, and adjusts CNC and other precision machines to produce parts that meet print specifications and tolerance requirements. The role supports production quality and efficiency through programming adjustments, inspection, tooling changes, and preventive maintenance.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC machines and other precision equipment
• create parts from drawings and written instructions
• write, edit, and troubleshoot programs as needed
• select tools, speeds, feeds, and holding requirements
• inspect parts throughout production runs for tolerance compliance
• adjust tool offsets and replace worn tools
• perform preventive maintenance
• assist with machine setup and training less experienced machinists as needed.

Why this role
