What you'll do

• Supervise professional and technical staff
• manage development review caseloads and review staff reports and public-hearing presentations
• administer planning policies and comprehensive plans
• improve application processing and development review systems
• develop and update countywide land-use regulations and procedures
• manage major planning projects and land-use code administration
• support commissions and boards
• respond to community and developer inquiries
• coordinate with county departments and outside agencies
• contribute to budget forecasting and process improvements.
