What you'll do

• Assess patient telephone calls using clinic protocols and clinical judgment
• determine acuity and appropriate disposition
• respond to patients professionally and promptly
• evaluate callers’ understanding of instructions
• process messages and document in the electronic medical record
• conduct initial assessment during emergencies when specified clinicians are absent
• maintain assigned logs and checks
• assist with training
• travel to other clinics as assigned or required.
