What you'll do
- Provide quality, individualized resident care
- assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, transfers, ambulation, and other daily needs
- help maintain skin integrity
- perform assigned tasks such as checking vital signs, weighing residents, applying creams, and collecting specimens
- report observations and behavioral changes
- assist the Wound Care Nurse as directed
- document care confidentially
- follow infection-control and safety practices
- respond to call lights
- assist with admissions and room transfers
- communicate with residents, families, visitors, peers, and supervisors.
