Production Designer and CNC Programmer

Job overview

The Production Designer and CNC Programmer role is onsite in Fayetteville, AR, with pay of $22–$32 per hour. The position supports NXA Manufacturing’s custom stainless-steel equipment production and Consumer Products Division design initiatives. This role connects engineering designs to shop-floor production by preparing accurate drawings and CNC programs, improving material use, and coordinating workflow across laser and press brake operations. It also supports manufacturability, production quality, and continuous improvement through collaboration with engineering, purchasing, machining, and customers.

What you'll do

• Create 2D shop drawings from 3D SolidWorks models and convert drawings and models as needed
• develop CNC programs and nesting layouts for laser and press brake operations
• maintain drawing revisions and bills of materials
• coordinate material availability and part profiles
• troubleshoot program errors
• support process improvements and accurate production records.
