Medication Technician

Job overview

The Medication Technician role is onsite in Pahrump, NV, and is part-time. The posting states pay of $15 per hour. What you'll do

• Administer, assist with, or supervise medication administration according to physician orders and the medication administration record
• document medication administration and verify records
• conduct shift reports
• secure medication carts and narcotic keys and complete narcotic counts
• assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility
• observe and report changes in residents’ condition
• respond to emergencies
• follow infection-control and safety procedures
• document services
• plan the wellness schedule
• participate in an on-call staffing rotation, remain available by phone while on call, and help cover open shifts.
