What you'll do

• Direct, plan, and coordinate nursing service activities
• interpret Center policies and regulations and ensure compliance
• analyze nursing and related services to improve care quality and use staff effectively
• ensure in-service training
• maintain nursing coverage for 24 hours a day, seven days a week
• work with the Administrator on the nursing department budget
• present quality assurance findings and improvement plans monthly
• conduct daily unit rounds
• direct staff through policies, meetings, and written communications.
