What you'll do

• Move materials, supplies, molten aluminum, and raw stock
• operate a sit-down forklift and deliver molten metal to die-cast machines
• charge and tend furnaces
• maintain metal levels and temperatures and record readings
• assist with aluminum quality checks and chemistry adjustments
• clean furnaces and remove dross
• perform preventive and predictive maintenance and troubleshoot dosing furnaces
• follow PPE, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
