What you'll do
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and supervise employees
- develop staffing schedules and budgets
- manage revenue-generating services
- coordinate with facility staff, physicians, consultants, vendors, and service providers
- set food preparation standards
- participate in menu planning
- inspect meals
- manage special nourishment and supplemental feedings
- ensure food safety and sanitation
- process diet orders and changes
- complete assigned MDS sections
- develop dietary plans with the registered dietitian and in accordance with physician orders
- review and update nutrition care plans
- support registered dietitian duties as needed.
