The Engineering Technician - Onsite role is onsite in West Valley City, UT, supporting a client located in Salt Lake City, UT. Pay is $20.69–$30.69 per hour. Genesis10 is recruiting for a 12+ month contract position with a global medical technology company. The work takes place in a clean room environment. The technician assists engineers and scientists with product, material, process, and equipment development and analysis. By building and testing prototypes, supporting quality standards, and contributing to process innovation, the role helps engineering teams develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products.

What you'll do

• Build and test prototypes and products according to engineering instructions
• train others on new product processes and test procedures
• assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards
• contribute technical input to processes, procedures, tooling, and automation
• support capable manufacturing processes for new products
• provide Design for Manufacturability input
• ensure testing follows current methods and specifications and document work per GLP and QS requirements
• develop concepts and construct prototypes or products
• and communicate project status. Requirements include a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, at least two years of technical work experience, preliminary equipment and prototype drawings, bench fixturing or tooling design, and vendor experience.
