Vision Therapist

The Vision Therapist role is onsite in Longwood, FL. Pay is $22–$28 per hour. Essential Eyecare & Optical provides comprehensive eye care services to the Longwood community. The therapist develops and delivers individualized vision therapy, evaluates patient progress, and works with optometrists to adjust treatment plans. The work supports patients’ visual health and therapy goals through clinical care and education for patients and families.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized vision therapy programs
• conduct sessions addressing amblyopia, strabismus, convergence insufficiency, and binocular vision disorders
• perform and document visual assessments and progress evaluations
• collaborate with optometrists on treatment plans
• educate patients and families on home exercises and visual hygiene
• maintain patient records
• stay current with vision therapy techniques and research.
