Job overview

The Cook role is onsite in Albemarle, NC, at a residential treatment facility. Pay is $13–$14 per hour. The cook prepares meals for facility residents and coordinates with residential staff to support timely, nutritious meal service. The role exists to provide meals that follow planned menus and applicable physician diet orders while maintaining food safety and a clean kitchen. Consistent preparation and communication help meet residents’ meal needs and facility procedures.

What you'll do

• Prepare meals and nourishments using planned menus and applicable physician diet orders
• follow recipes and adjust for client requests
• bake, grill, steam, and boil foods
• serve facility residents
• maintain food freshness, kitchen cleanliness, and sanitation
• handle and store ingredients and equipment safely
• communicate with staff, residents, and families.
