Senior Environmental Planner

The Senior Environmental Planner is an onsite role in Bakersfield, CA. Compensation is not specified. The planner manages projects and multidisciplinary teams, prepares and reviews environmental documents, and advises staff, engineering teams, clients, and agencies on compliance. The role contributes to sound project delivery by coordinating schedules, budgets, public notices, and regulatory engagement while mentoring environmental professionals.

What you'll do

• Manage projects and teams, including subconsultants and multidisciplinary teams, and track schedules and budgets
• prepare environmental documents
• coordinate public notices and document distribution
• advise staff, engineering teams, and clients on environmental compliance
• review documents for quality
• prepare proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets
• present or provide training
• represent the company and clients with agencies
• participate in business development as needed.

Why this role
