What you'll do

• Plan, coordinate, and provide critical-care nursing
• supervise and delegate care to ancillary personnel within their scope
• provide interventions in stable and emergent situations
• administer medications and intravenous therapy, including blood products
• interpret ECG rhythms
• monitor patients requiring ventilation, neurological monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
• develop multidisciplinary care plans
• educate patients and families
• document care
• and complete unit-specific safety and quality checks.

Why this role

Requires a current RN license, high school education or GED, an associate degree, completion of a critical-care nursing course, BLS, and ACLS. TNCC is required within one year of hire or transfer. Six months of prior critical-care experience and a bachelor’s degree in nursing are preferred. Current EPIC experience is required by the assignment details.
