Job overview
The Class A Fleet Mechanic role is an onsite position based in Racine, WI. The pay range is $26–$36/hr based on experience, supporting the Environmental Services department. This role exists to safely operate, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. The mechanic contributes to the company's goals by ensuring all rolling stock is in safe operating condition, excluding garbage trucks, to support environmental service projects.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
- Maintain and repair heavy diesel, CNG, gas, and electric equipment.
- Plan and schedule repairs using M5 planner, procure parts, and assist in training new employees.
