Field Representative — Union Organizing and Representation

What you'll do

• Recruit members and support participation in union and political activities
• develop and train stewards and worksite leaders
• communicate with workers through visits, meetings, and other channels
• interpret agreements and assist members with grievances, appeals, hearings, and workplace issues
• negotiate or support bargaining
• research bargaining positions
• participate in issue, legislative, and electoral campaigns
• maintain work plans, calendars, and records.
