The CNC Machinist performs precision machining duties onsite in Jonesborough, TN, supporting the Operations department at BWX Technologies, Inc. This position exists to fabricate tight-tolerance components for nuclear solutions, ensuring production schedules and customer specifications are met. The Machinist works under general supervision, collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot processes and maintain a safe, efficient workspace.

What you'll do

• Operate CNC and conventional lathes, perform machine offsets, use inspection gaging equipment (micrometers, CMM), interpret blueprints, maintain SPC data, and perform routine preventative maintenance.
