The HRIS Analyst is an onsite, full-time role in Washington, DC, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule. The stated salary range is $70,000–$80,000 annually. Howard University Hospital is a teaching hospital and DC Level 1 Trauma Center with a mission of patient-centered, culturally responsive care. The analyst supports and maintains HR information systems, protects data integrity, resolves system and employee-data issues, and produces reports for HR, benefits, leave, and payroll operations. The role also contributes to system improvements, projects, documentation, and user training.

What you'll do

  • Support and maintain assigned HRIS systems and applications
  • analyze system issues and implement solutions with functional clients and IT
  • maintain system configuration tables
  • investigate employee data and payroll errors
  • support mass data uploads
  • audit and troubleshoot scheduled and ad hoc processes
  • create and maintain reports
  • respond to data requests
  • develop HRIS procedures
  • recommend system and process improvements
  • participate in projects
  • train and coach super users and subject matter experts
  • maintain training documentation.
