Furniture Service Technician

Job overview

The Furniture Service Technician role is onsite in Dublin, OH, and pays $40,000–$60,000 per year. The technician performs customer repairs for Big Sandy Superstore and supports its commitment to customer service and the Superstore Experience. The role exists to complete scheduled service work and provide quality furniture repairs in customers’ homes. It includes communicating with customers, documenting work and parts, inspecting bedding, and completing repairs or assembly tasks.

What you'll do

• Call scheduled customers between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
• complete scheduled service calls
• repair or touch up leather and fabric
• replace reclining mechanisms
• perform wood touch-ups
• repair and reinforce furniture frames
• assemble case goods
• inspect bedding
• order parts and record work-order comments
• finalize billing notes from the customer’s home.
