The Paint Stripper role is onsite in Washington, DC, with a stated pay range of $20–$23 per hour. The position supports Worcester Eisenbrandt Construction’s surface preparation and restoration work. The role prepares walls, woodwork, and other surfaces for repainting or refinishing by removing old paint, repairing and sanding surfaces, and following safety and quality procedures while maintaining an organized work area.

What you'll do

• Remove old paint using scraping tools, heat guns, and chemical removers
• patch and sand surfaces and fill cracks, holes, and joints
• clean walls and protect surfaces with cloth or plastic
• follow safety procedures and handle tools properly
• calculate material quantities and estimate costs
• erect scaffolding or staging to access difficult areas
• assist with general maintenance tasks.
