What you'll do

• Assist the Registered Dietitian with diet orders, resident and family interviews, and nutritional assessments
• complete low-risk assessments and episodic nutrition notes using ADIME and update care plans using PES
• document in the Point Click Care EMR and complete MDS work on schedule
• enter resident information, preferences, and diet changes
• review menu extensions and report discrepancies
• communicate nutrition changes to the interdisciplinary team
• attend care conferences and morning reports
• provide diet education
• and conduct meal-round, tray, and quality-assurance audits as scheduled.

Why this role

Requires an associate’s degree in nutrition or dietetics and experience working with a Registered Dietitian. A bachelor’s degree and senior-living experience are preferred. Dietetic Technician Registered or Registered Dietitian credentials require continuing education and an up-to-date portfolio.
