Cost Accountant

What you'll do

• Review and validate bills of material for raw material, packaging, and routing costs
• maintain and reconcile monthly inventory roll-forward schedules
• track purchase price and usage variances and yield losses
• monitor inventory adjustments, obsolescence, and shrinkage
• prepare inventory journal entries, reserves, and accruals
• analyze inventory and cost of goods sold variances
• partner with Operations Finance on standard versus actual costs
• support inventory controls, cycle counts, process improvements, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
