Ground Operations Agent

The Ground Operations Agent role is an onsite airport position in Clearwater, FL. Compensation is $17 per hour. The role supports Allegiant airport ground operations and customer service activities. The agent coordinates and directs cross-utilized customer service and ground operations staff, helps ensure service and safety requirements are met, and performs operational duties as needed. Work includes assisting customers, handling baggage, marshaling and pushing back aircraft, operating ground equipment, and supporting training and staffing assignments.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and direct customer service and ground operations agents
• work with supervisors and departments to address service issues
• monitor compliance with safety rules and regulations
• report hazards and incidents
• perform customer service and ground operations duties
• assist customers with boarding needs
• load and unload baggage
• marshal aircraft and push back aircraft
• operate ground equipment
• assign job functions and support employee training.
