What you'll do

• Receive service calls.
• Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems.
• Diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products.
• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures.
• Service, troubleshoot and install different manufacturers’ Fire & Life Safety systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
• Complete Service Acknowledgements.
• Obtain customer signature.
• Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation.
• Provide our customers with the highest level of service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

2+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems. Oklahoma Commercial Fire Alarm license (or be willing to get it). Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals. Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices. High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Capable of performing physical labor. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends. Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Maintain truck inventory. Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures. Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements. Retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
