Hospital Security Officer

The Hospital Security Officer role is onsite at Jefferson Hospital in Clairton, PA. Pay is $17 per hour. The officer monitors the premises, patrols for safety and security concerns, screens visitors, and responds to incidents and emergencies. What you'll do

• Observe for crime, disorder, hazards, and unusual activity
• patrol the premises and check for unsafe conditions and unauthorized individuals
• de-escalate individuals as needed
• inspect security devices and fire-control equipment
• screen visitors and employees
• respond to fire, medical emergencies, threats, flooding, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, and inclement weather
• patient escort, patient watch, safety escort, restraint assistance, or morgue transport may be required.
