Tax Administrator

Job overview

The Tax Administrator role is an in-office position in Reno, NV. Compensation is $60,000–$70,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus performance bonus. The role supports Keystone CPA’s client service and tax engagement workflow. The Tax Administrator owns administrative coordination from client onboarding through completion, keeping communications, records, deadlines, and workflow visible so engagements progress and potential delays are surfaced to the appropriate professionals. This is not a tax preparation or review position.

What you'll do

• Serve as the routine client contact
• respond within one business day
• coordinate onboarding, engagement letters, signatures, portal setup, and document requests
• create and maintain projects in CCH Axcess Workflow
• monitor deadlines and at-risk engagements
• prepare weekly deadline reports
• track extensions
• maintain client records
• coordinate document delivery and e-signatures
• alert billing and operations when work is ready for invoicing
• recommend workflow improvements
• escalate issues to managers or principals.

Why this role
